The trailer launch event of ‘Rajaratham’ took place at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad on December 26. Daggubati Rana graced the event as chief guest and launched the trailer. The event was graced by team members of ‘Rajaratham’ including hero Nirup Bhandari, heroine Avantika Shetty, director Anup Bhandari, Ramajogayya Sastri, Abburi Ravi and one of the producers of the film Sathish Sastri.
Nirup Bhandari and Avantika Shetty starrer ‘Rajaratham’ is produced by Ajay Reddy Gollapalli of Jollyhits Pvt Ltd, an international movie distribution and production company. ‘Rajaratha’ is a romantic comedy with lots of fun and adventure. 'Rangitaranga' which was made with the same combination, was a blockbuster in Kannada. The film has completed the shooting part and presently post-production works are progressing. The makers are planning to release the film on January 25, 2018.
Wishing all the best to ‘Rajaratham’ team, Rana Daggubati said, “When I was hosting an award function, I observed 'Rangitaranga' has won many awards. You will not see me in ‘Rajaratham’, but you will hear me. Few films have distinct stories and ‘Rajaratham’ is such a film. Audience will like such kind of films for sure. I too love to do and watch such kind of films. I wish all the best to the entire unit.”
Speaking on the occasion, writer Abburi Ravi said, “Director Anup Bhandari’s previous film 'Rangitaranga' was screened for one year and created sensation. Now, ‘Rajaratham’ is being made with the same combination blended with all emotions. Anup Bhandari is being introduced to Tollywood through this film. I wish the film will become big hit and will stand out as a great welcome movie to Anup Bhandari and Nirup.”
“Director Anup Bhandari is a talented person. He has good humour as his vision. He has extracted good lyrics from me. It is beyond doubt that the audio album of ‘Rajaratham’ will impress music lovers,” said Ramajogayya Sastri.
Heroine Avantika Shetty said, “This is my first Telugu film. Working with anice co-star like Nirup under Anup garu’s direction is a wonderful experience.”
Hero Nirup Bhandari said, “Before taking up ‘Rajaratham’ project, I don’t know Telugu. Later I learned Telugu while dubbing my lines. I am thankful to rana garu for gracing the event. My brother took up the direction department and music, while my vadina has designed costumes. I wish and hope Telugu audience will encourage us by making the film a success.”
Addressing the gathering, director Anup Bhandari said, “After blockbuster film like 'Rangitaranga', I am directing ‘Rajaratham’. Apart from directing this film, I have provided music as well. My father Sudhakar Bhandari garu has worked for many Telugu films. He worked for ‘Geethanjali’ and Chiranjeevi garu’sfilm and to name a few. My wife has designed costumes for this film. Hero and heroine have given wonderful performance. I am thankful to producers for trusting me and given me the opportunity.”
One of the producers of the film, Sathish Sastri said, “We have distributed Anup Bhandari’s first directorial 'Rangitaranga' in overseas. It has got tremendous response in overseas. I was screened for 50 days in a theatre. We are making ‘Rajaratham’ with huge budget and high technical values without compromising in any aspect.
