The pre-release event of Mass Jathara was held on Tuesday evening in Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, Suriya was all praise for Ravi Teja, the film's hero.

The Retro and Kanguva actor said, "If explosive energy has a human form, it is Ravi Teja garu. I have fanboy moments to share about him. Whenever we remember him at home, Jyothika, Karthi and I have a laugh, not just a smile. Lots of respect to all his fans who have assembled here. They have been celebrating him for so many years. He is the best when he brings the common man to life on screen and makes them king-size. He does that with so much ease. He gives the best to those characters. I am a big fan of his work. Laughter is the toughest and greatest art form. He does that in an inimitable way; he has been entertaining the gallery for so many years. Millions of audience love him. It's not easy to do it on repeat. Idiot, Kick, Vikramarkudu... Without dubbing and subtitles too, the Tamil audience love his films. Rajini sir has great comic timing. Bachchan sir has that. Ravi Teja has that. Keep entertaining us! This October 31st will be Ravi Teja's. It will be a festival of sorts."

Ravi Teja in his speech said that the action choreography of Prithvi and Venkat has a certain attitude and swag. The actor added that Bheems Ceciroleo's BGM is so special. The Mass Maharaja made a mention of production design and cinematography departments. "Naveen Chandra is going to surprise you, making you wonder about his new side. He has nailed it with his character, Sivudu. Our combination scenes will be a blast. I hope combination scenes involving me and Rajendra Prasad will always be in demand from the audience. You are going to see a new, massy Sreeleela in the film. I will talk about Naga Vamsi at the success meet," Ravi Teja added. He suggested that director Bhanu Bhogavarapu will go places along with dialogue writer Nandu after Mass Jathara.

Producer S Naga Vamsi said that Mass Jathara has everything that we expect from a Ravi Teja movie. He thanked Suriya for gracing the occasion as the chief guest.

Actress Sreeleela said that she hopes Mass Jathara will take her career to another level, much like Dhamaka. "I have never been this 'naatu' in a movie. The audience have been asking me to change my style. I have done this with Mass Jathara. You will see me pick quarrels with Ravi Teja garu's character in the movie. I thank Suriya sir for being here. I thank producer Naga Vamsi garu for this opportunity," she added.
