The other day, Tamannaah Bhatia denied the rumor that she took a weight-loss pill recently. She explained that her weight change was due to struggling with inflammation after COVID and embracing her natural body structure.

Incidentally, the Baahubali actress is not the first movie celebrity from India to issue such a clarification. Bollywood producer-director Karan Johar denied using the medication Ozempic, countering circulating rumors.

Even in the West, such denials have come from different celebrities. Khloé Kardashian, the reality star, had to deny swallowing Ozempic.

There are those who have openly admitted to using drugs. Actress and media mogul Oprah Winfrey is one of them. She recently revealed she takes a prescribed weight-loss drug as a tool to help manage her weight. Rebel Wilson, Whoopi Goldberg, Kathy Bates, James Corden and others have taken weight-loss pills.
