Allu Arjun to Nag Ashwin: Telangana's Gaddar Awards announced

The Gaddar Awards, celebrating achievements in Telugu cinema, have announced their winners for the latest edition. Filmmaker Nag Ashwin took home the Best Director award for his dystopian epic sci-fi movie, Kalki 2898 AD.

In the acting categories, Allu Arjun was recognized as Best Leading Actor for his performance in Pushpa 2: The Rule, which was released in theatres in December 2024. Nivetha Thomas received the Best Leading Actress award for 35 Chinna Katha Kaadu, a film about a mother's earnest endeavour to help her school-going kid's academic merit.

The Best Supporting Actor honor went to SJ Suryah for Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, and Sharanya Pradeep was awarded Best Supporting Actress for her role in the Suhas-starrer Ambajipeta Marriage Band.
