Should John Wick's 5th Chapter be made at all? Debate arises

The 5th edition of John Wick has been confirmed. The first four editions of the American neo-noir action thriller film series were acclaimed. Created by Derek Kolstad, the series centers on the titular character portrayed by actor Keanu Reeves. The character of the iconic hitman has been historic.

With the 5th Chapter confirmed, Netizens are debating if it is really needed. "Lionsgate (the owner of the franchise) could have kept pumping out more John Wick films every few years, and we would eat them up, but the fourth film instead made a risky move by killing off its titular character," wrote Collider in an anti-Chapter 5 piece.

"John Wick is one of the few franchises where there is not a single bad movie, all four movies are so good, it doesn't need a fifth movie not to mention a producer said these movies physically destroy Keanu and he asked to be killed off, the ending was perfect," opined a social media user.

Meanwhile, on June 6th this year, 'From the World of John Wick: Ballerina' is going to be released. It is directed by Len Wiseman and written by Shay Hatten. The film serves as a spin-off set between the events of 'John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum' (2019) and 'John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023)'.
