The teaser of Santhana Prapthirasthu is pretty based. As Vennela Kishore's character says, "Making babies ought to be the easiest of all jobs. But even this has been turned into a complicated affair." The male lead (played by Vikranth) must ratchet up his sperm count and mother his wife Kalyani (Chandini Chowdary) in one hundred days. Otherwise, his father-in-law (played by the sought-after Muralidhar Goud) is going to snatch her away from him.
The youthful family entertainer is both a slapstick comedy and a relationship drama rolled into one. The Teaser checks all the right boxes, complete with comedy roles by Tharun Bhascker, Jeevan Kumar, and Abhinav Gomatam.
When the film hits the cinemas, we will know how much of the story is a commentary on modern-day health issues. There is the usual humour around software jobs.
Santhana Prapthirasthu features a screenplay by Sanjeev Reddy (director) and Sheikh Dawood G, with music composed by Sunil Kashyap. The star cast includes Sri Lakshmi, Harsha Vardhan, Bindu Chandramouli, Jeevan Kumar, Satya Krishna, Thagubotu Ramesh, Abhay Bethiganti, Kireeti, Anil Geela, and Saddam. The cinematography is handled by Mahi Reddy Pandugula.
