Naga Naidu is the name of Venkatesh's character in Rana Naidu, the prominent Netflix original. The Sankranthiki Vasthunam actor has opened up about the "emotional core" of the mercurial character.
In a recent interview, Venkatesh drew comparisons between himself and the role.
Venkatesh explained that while Naga is unpredictable, his deep love for his family is a trait the actor strongly relates to. He stated that both he (Venkatesh) and Naga Naidu share this familial affection, but added that their similarities end there. He described himself as predictable, while Naga is anything but.
The actor further clarified the distinctions, stating that he personally prefers structure and stability. In stark contrast, Naga "lives for drama" and is "full of surprises." Venkatesh highlighted that he doesn't engage in mind games, unlike Naga, who keeps people guessing about his thoughts.
Also starring Surveen Chawla, Kriti Kharbanda, Sushant Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, and Dino Morea, the web series is produced by Sunder Aaron and Locomotive Global.
