Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is currently in Davos for the World Economic Forum. On the occasion, he was asked by a senior Indian journalist about Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu's opinion that Allu Arjun shouldn't have been arrested in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case, given the actor hadn't caused the death of a woman directly.
Revanth Reddy said that Naidu might not be aware of the full details. "His understanding of the issue appears to be superficial. If you look at an issue from a distance, you might not be able to understand. Allu Arjun was denied permission to visit the theatre two days prior. Despite the refusal by the police, he visited the theatre. Because of the behaviour of his private security, there was a melee, causing a stampede and the death of the woman (Revathi). The law must take its own course," Revanth Reddy said.
If the private security personnel of Allu Arjun caused the melee, how would the actor be responsible for it? Never mind!
