Comedian Prudhviraj was recently hospitalized due to a high blood pressure-induced health issue. After he was discharged yesterday, he hinted at doing a political movie in the near future.
"When I do a political movie, politicize it. Don't drag movies like Laila in the political muck," Prudhviraj told his trolls.
Earlier in the week, Prudhviraj's speech at the pre-release event of Laila angered the YSRCP support base. Nearly a lakh tweets with the hashtag #BoycottLaila came out targeting the film. The controversy forced actor Vishwak Sen and producer Sahu Garapati to come out in the open and apologize on his behalf.
Prudhviraj has lodged a cyber crime complaint against dozens of unknown individuals who have abused him online and on phone calls. He alleged that his personal phone number was put out online in an unauthorized manner.
