Lately, it has been speculated that Megastar Chiranjeevi is seeking a Rajya Sabha nomination. On Tuesday, speaking at the pre-release event of Brahma Anandam, Chiru made it clear that he will stay away from politics for the rest of his life.
"Have no doubts that I will not re-enter politics. Lately, speculations have arisen because I have moved among some leaders. I want to make it clear that I have no political plans. To take forward my public service goals, I have Pawan Kalyan in the field of politics," the Waltair Veerayya actor said.
Chiranjeevi is currently doing Mallidi Vassishta-directed Vishwambhara, which could be a May release this year. The film is produced by UV Creations. He will shoot for Anil RAvipudi's movie in the second half of this year. This film will head to theatres for Sankranthi 2026. In a span of about six months, Chiru will be seen in two theatrical releases. He will also team up with Srikanth Odela and Bobby Kolli.
