Netflix's first-ever Telugu-language web series is titled Super Subbu. To be streamed soon on the streaming giant, the show stars Sundeep Kishan, Brahmanandam, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Mithila Palkar, Murali Sharma, Sampoornesh Babu and others. Directed by Mallik Ram of Tillu Square fame, its teaser suggests that the element of sex education is a prime one.
Sundeep Kishan's character is condemned to teach sex education to school children. Seemingly, he accepts the role with reluctance. The show is a commentary on conservative attitudes around a so-called taboo subject. Produced by Rajiv Chilaka and Bharath Laxmipati, the show also features Hyper Aadhi.
Brahmamandam, who will be seen in the comedy drama Brahma Anandam (theatrical release on February 14), has the role of a headmaster.
Sundeep Kishan, seen in films like Ooru Peru Bhairavakona and Raayan in recent times, will soon be seen also in Mazaka (theatrical release). Directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina, Mazaka will head to theatres on February 21.
