During the promotions of The Raja Saab on Wednesday, actress Nidhhi Agerwal was mobbed by an unruly crowd. She was subjected to unwarranted inconvenience; visibly, the actress was overwhelmed and probably feared for something untoward.
The incident has elicited angry reactions from the concerned. Despite many such similar incidents in the past, not enough care has been taken by organizers. "The same mistakes are being repeated across film promotions and even cricket events. Indoor and outdoor events must be planned differently, with defined capacity, controlled entry and exit, and trained security teams. Without this, such gatherings become unsafe by default," wrote India 2047 on X.
A few celebrities have come out against the incident. "Pack of men behaving worse than hyenas. Actually why insult hyenas. Put ‘likeminded’ men together in a mob, they will harass a woman like this. Why doesn't some God take them all away and put them on a different planet?" wrote singer Chinmayi Sripaada.
The Raja Saab has Nidhhi Agerwal as Prabhas' heroine. She was recently seen in Pawan Kalyan's Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
