The charismatic combination of Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR is proving to be a box office juggernaut, as their film WAR 2 continues its fabulous run. Following a massive opening on August 14, the movie's second day saw "rock solid" bookings with housefull shows everywhere, making it the most tickets sold on BookMyShow for the day.
What is the film about? Kabir (Hrithik Roshan), a former RAW agent, has become a major threat after he kills RAW chief Luthra (Ashutosh Rana) under the tutelage of Kali, a global cartel out to create chaos in India. To neutralize him, the RAW fields an elite special operative, Vikram (Jr NTR), since only he can sabotage Kabir in a cross-continental mission. The plot thickens when Kabir and Vikram share a complex equation. Vikram is not totally white and Kabir is not totally black. At stake is the life of the Indian PM.
War 2 is directed by Ayan Mukerji. Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor have important roles.
