Kiran Abbavaram's 2024 thriller KA has earned a coveted Best Film nomination at the 15th Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival 2025. The gripping narrative and stellar performances impressed the audiences and critics alike, marking a significant milestone for the young team behind the project. The accolade comes after the movie's successful run in theatres. Its OTT release has also tasted success.

Kiran Abbavaram was recently seen in Dilruba. He has four movies lined up for release in the next 18 months or so. "Each of them is different from the other. One of them is a cult romantic drama. I am doing a family drama and a youthful entertainer as well. The last one is based on a hunt for precious material (Lenka Bindalu). Its scope is so wide that it has to be a 3-part story. Year 2025 will see me in two movies. In 2026, there will be three releases. K-Ramp is my immediate next release," Kiran recently said.
