Samyuktha has a handful of movies in her kitty. The 'Virupaksha' and 'Bheemla Nayak' actress is now heading into a new territory with a female-centric movie.
After gaining popularity with unconventional movies like 'SIR' and 'Devil', Samyuktha is now doing a realistic cop story directed by a new filmmaker named Yogesh. The project was launched today.0
"Many female-centric films focus on themes of oppression or trauma. Why can't a film with a female protagonist explore different themes? I envisioned a female-centric film that would also appeal to a male actor," she said today. Nikhil Siddhartha’s ‘Swayambhu’ and Sharwanand’s untitled movie are also among her up-and-coming movies.
The actress, who hails from Kerala, is serving as the presenter for this film that is produced by Rajesh Danda under Hasya Movies banner. Dil Raju, D Suresh Babu, Rana Daggubati, 'Bimbisara' fame Mallidi Vashishta, 'Bheeshma' fame director Venky Kudumula, 'Samajavaragamana' fame director Ram Abbaraju, senior writer Kona Venkat, and others were present at the launch event.
