Director Chandoo Mondeti recently added great value to his soaring career with the National Award for Best Telugu Film for his adventure thriller, 'Karthikeya 2'. The film, starring Nikhil Siddhartha, Anupama Parameswara and others, delves into the spiritual significance of Lord Krishna. Fittingly, producer Abhishek Aggarwal has dedicated the award to Krishna.

President Draupadi Murmu presented the award to Chandoo Mondeti and the producer at the 70th National Film Awards ceremony in Delhi. The industry has showered the team with praise and congratulations.

Chandoo made the movie based on his understanding of 'Amar Chitra Katha' and 'Sundarakanda'. He mixed his understanding of 'ACK' with the Lord Krishna-associated mythology in writing the script of 'Karthikeya 2'. A scene featuring Anupam Kher in the movie has attained vast popularity.

A sequel, 'Karthikeya 3', is already in the works, and fans eagerly anticipate his future projects.

'Thandel', featuring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, is Chandoo's next film. Like 'Karthikeya 2', this one too is a pan-Indian film. Chandoo has been unstoppable!
