Konda Surekha is fighting a legal case after Akkineni Nagarjuna's recent legal notice to her. Speaking to the media on Tuesday, the Minister's lawyer said that her client had not said anything wrong (with respect to the Naga Chaitanya-Samantha Ruth Prabhu divorce).
"My client didn't make any defamatory statements. Nor was obscene language used. Konda Surekha garu will be acquitted. She didn't make any allegations. And defamation can't be invoked against my client. The Tollywood film fraternity has been unnecessarily blowing things out of proportion in a manipulative way. I don't understand why they are over-reacting," the lawyer said.
Surprisingly, she went to the extent of scandalising actors and actresses wholesale. "We all know the secret about them. There is no need to explicitly state what they do," the lawyer added.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu made her first public appearance since the controversy erupted on Tuesday at the 'Jigra' pre-release event.
