RAPO22 is going to be a big-scale project directed by Mahesh Babu P of 'Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty' fame. Its launch event today happened on the occasion of producer Naveen Yerneni's birthday. The film is also produced by Y Ravi Shankar.
Hanu Raghavapudi, who is directing Mythri-produced 'Fauji' headlined by Prabhas, was present at the launch. "Your larger-than-life vision and fearless execution have transformed Mythri into a global phenomenon," the 'Sita Ramam' maker wrote on social media. Venky Kudumula and Gopichand Malineni, Shiva Nirvana and Pavan Sadineni, among others, were also present.
Bhagyashri Borse is the film's heroine. While she and Ram are known for glamour and energy, RAPO22 won't be just about that. It will be beyond - an emotional drama at one level.
Mythri Movie Makers is planning to roll out the shoot by the end of this month. RAPO22 should be completing its shoot and post-production fast. It will be a 2025 second-half release. Top technicians will be roped in.
