Director Bobby Kolli recently suggested that one of his films could have been a massive hit had it received adequate funding. In an interview, he hinted that the film's producer was responsible for hindering his creative vision by not providing the necessary budget.

Although Bobby didn't name the film and the star, it is evident that he was talking about Jr NTR's Jai Lava Kusa. The film was released in theatres in 2017 and was criticized for ordinary visuals and below-par production values. Tarak's triple role was the only major highlight of the movie.

Netizens, including Tarak's fans, are amplifying Bobby's latest utterances, saying that NTR Arts' lack of vision ruined the project to a large extent. But NTR Arts might have invested cautiously primarily because Bobby's previous release, Pawan Kalyan's Sardaar Gabbar Singh, was a disaster. Yes, SGS failed mainly because of its outrageously outdated story. But even its execution was not up to the mark. Any producer would want to play safe in such a scenario.
