Sai Pallavi trashes 'paid bots' over fake wedding rumour

In May this year, Sai Pallavi attended the puja event of a Tamil movie headlined by actor Sivakarthikeyan. On the occasion, she was seen wearing a garland. The film's director, Rajkumar Periyasamy, was also seen wearing a garland. One of the pics from the puja event was cropped in such a way as to make the world believe that the 'Fidaa' actress and the director are a married couple. The rumour has angered the 'Love Story' actress.

Taking to Twitter on Friday, the 'Gargi' and 'Virata Parvam' actress called out the "disgusting intentions" of those who are spreading the cropped image on the Internet. She accused them of being paid bots.

"Honestly, I don’t care about rumors but when it involves friends who are family, I have to speak up. An image from my film’s ceremony was intentionally cropped and circulated with paid bots and disgusting intentions. When I have pleasant announcements to share on my work front, it’s disheartening to have to explain for all these jobless doings. To cause discomfort like this is purely vile," the actress wrote.

Sai Pallavi was recently roped in for a movie starring Naga Chaitanya in the lead. It is directed by Chandoo Mondeti and produced by GA2 Pictures/Geetha Arts.
