Director Srikanth Addala and producer Miryala Ravinder Reddy of 'Akhanda' fame have locked the release date of 'Peddha Kapu - 1'. The film, starring debutant Virat Karrna in the lead, will be released in theatres on September 29.
The date was today made official following the postponement of Prabhas' 'Salaar'. The makers believe that the extended weekend (due to Gandhi Jayanti on October 2) is going to help the film a great deal.
Starring Rao Ramesh and Aadukalam Naren as rivals, the film will be distributed in Nizam territory by Mythri Movie Makers' distribution arm.
The action scenes, choreographed by Peter Hein, are expected to be a highlight. Co-starring Naga Babu, Tanikella Bharani, Brigada Saga, Rajeev Kanakala, Anusuya Bharadwaj, and Eeshwari Rao, the film's cinematography is by Chota K Naidu. Mickey J Meyer (music), Marthand K Venkatesh (editing), GM Sekhar (art direction), and Raju Sundaram (dance choreography) have worked on the movie.
