'Nata Ratnalu', directed by Shivanagu, is slated to hit the cinemas soon. Starring Sudarshan, Mahesh Achanta, Thagubotu Ramesh and Inaya Sultana, the music album of the murder mystery crime thriller was released at an event today in Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, director Shivanagu criticized senior actor Suman for allegedly demanding Rs 2 lakh to attend the audio function. The senior filmmaker sounded hurt. "Why do I need to pay an artist to attend an event? To get praised?" he asked. Filmmaker and guest Ravikumar Chowdhary described Shivanagu as a one-man army. As someone who has made more than a dozen films so far, Shivanagu sounded confident that the themes discussed in the film will appeal to the audience.
Speaking on the occasion, guest Yerapatineni Srinivasa Rao said he feels his biopic should arrive at the cinemas after the Assembly elections in Telangana and not before. He quipped that its budget will outscore Baahubali's.
Chikoti Praveen said that the survival of the film industry stands on the viability of small films like 'Nata Ratnalu'. Supreme Babu, who is a doctor by profession, said that 'Nata Ratnalu' is a very good movie.
