'Rudrangi' is the title of an upcoming action drama starring Ashish Gandhi in an action-driven role. The film features Jagapathi Babu as an evil-minded, savage and cruel aristocrat.
The news is that the film, telling the tale of oppression and revolt, will hit the cinemas on July 7.
'Yama Donga' fame Mamta Mohandas is playing a fierce noblewoman named Jwalabhai in the movie. "Our film reflects the social conditions of the time in which the story is set. The period drama with social commentary will surely impress the audience," the makers stated.
In a recent interview, Jagapathi Babu said that he did 'Rudrangi' purely out of passion and not for remuneration.
Written and directed by Ajay Samrat, 'Rudrangi' is produced by Rasamayi Balakishan. Ganavi Laxman, Vimala Raman, Kalakeya Prabhakar, and Sadanandham have different parts.
