Actor Nithiin will start shooting for a film titled 'Thammudu' from next week. To be directed by Venu Sriram of 'Vakeel Saab' and 'MCA' fame, the project is bankrolled by Dil Raju. The film has been in the works for the past six months or so.
Since the title is the same as the title of a Pawan Kalyan movie, the 'Rang De' actor is feeling more responsible. "Some titles come with a lot of responsibility attached. We will deliver beyond your expectations," he wrote on Twitter. Why is the title 'Thammudu'? "Bonding is thicker than blood, make way for new brother in town. Stage is all set for brother to take over (sic)," the makers wrote, indirectly suggesting that the story might involve a non-biological brother.
Meanwhile, Nithiin awaits the release of 'Extra Ordinary Man', which is directed by Vakkantham Vamsi. It will hit the cinemas on December 23 this year. Nithiin is also doing a film with director Venky Kudumula of 'Bheeshma' fame. Starring Sree Leela as the heroine, the untitled project has GV Prakash Kumar composing the music.
