It is known that legendary actor Krishna was born in Burripalem in Guntur district. On Saturday, a statue of the thespian was inaugurated in the presence of his brother, Ghattamaneni Adiseshagiri Rao, Sudheer Babu and Krishna's daughters (Padmavati, Manjula, and Priyadarshini), Ramesh Babu's wife Mridula, Nannapaneni Rajakumari, producer Atchi Reddy, director SV Krishna Reddy and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Sudheer Babu said that he was glad to unveil Krishna's biography 'Devudu Lanti Manishi', written by veteran film journalist Vinayaka Rao. The 'Hunt' actor also said that he entered the film industry with passion, much like Krishna, whom he admires a great deal. "I feel fortunate to have participated in the inauguration of the statue here today. Also, I am very happy that this wonderful book written by Vinayaka Rao garu has been released at my hands," the 'Maa Nanna Superhero' actor added.
Director SV Krishna Reddy said that Krishna will always be the Numero Uno hero.
Vinayaka Rao said that writing the biography was a distinctive experience. Producer Adiseshagiri Rao said that pleasure was his to be present at the stature inaugural.
