'Mother Teresa & Me' is up for a theatrical release soon. The fictionalized biopic traces the life story of Mother Teresa in India. At the centre of the story is one Kavita, a young British girl of Indian origin. Helmed by Kamal Musale, the film has British actress Banita Sandhu in a key role.
Playing Mother Teresa is Jacqueline Fitschi-Cornaz. Co-produced by the titular actress, Kamal Musale, Richard Fritschi and Thierry Cagianut, this crowd-funded outing, the film also features Deepti Naval in a key role.
Vikram Kochhar, Bryan Lawrence, Heer Kaur, Kevin Mains, Lina Baishya, Shobu Kapoor, Mahi Ali Khan, Faith Knight and Jack Gordon are part of the cast. Curry Western Movies (Pvt Ltd), Les Films du Lotus (Sàrl) & Kavita Teresa Film (Ltd) are bringing the film.
The film will hit the cinemas on May 5.
