The other day, it was announced that Sivakarthikeyan's 'Mahaveerudu', written and directed by Madonne Ashwin, will be released in theatres on August 11. The latest update is that his pan-India movie 'Ayalaan', headlined by the Tamil hero, has locked its release date.
Producer RD Raja of 24AM Studios and director R Ravikumar stated that the film will be released for Diwali in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. The exact Diwali-time release date is yet to be announced.
The 'Don' and 'Doctor' actor will be seen in an unconventional role. This alien thriller will meet Hollywoodian standards, the makers said.
The film has been made as a CGI-heavy and visually delicious one. More than 4,500 Live-Action VFX shots have been used.
Rakul Preet Singh is expected to make a strong comeback with the movie.
Co-starring Tamil actors like Karunakaran and Yogi Babu, the film has yesteryear actress Bhanupriya and Bollywood's Isha Koppikar-Sharad Kelkar duo in key roles.
Edited by Ruben, the film has cinematography by Nirav Shah. Production Design is being done by T Muthuraj. AR Rahman, who is currently composing music for films like 'Ponniyin Selvan 2', is its music director.
