Arun Vijay of 'Saaho' fame is doing an action drama titled 'Mission: Chapter 1'. Directed by AL Vijay of 'Thalavi' fame, the expensive film has been acquired by Lyca Productions, which is currently producing Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' and Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan 2'.
The film, which will lock its release date soon, has been shot in just 70 working days across locations in Chennai and London.
Amy Jackson of '2.0' fame is making a comeback. To be released in all major South Indian languages, the film is a prison drama also featuring Nimisha Sajayan in a pivotal role.
With music by GV Prakash Kumar, 'Mission: Chapter 1' also features Abi Hassan, Bharath Bopanna, Baby Iyal, Viraaj S, and Jason Shah. Stunts are by Stunt Silva. Sandeep K Vijay has cranked the camera, while Anthony is the editor of the movie.
While the film has been produced by M Rajashekar and S Swathi, Subaskaran acquired the release rights.
