Director Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Babli Bouncer', headlined by Pan-India Actress Tamannaah Bhatia, is gearing up for a direct OTT release. The film will stream on Disney Plus Hotstar from September 23 in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. The fictional story is set in Asola Fatepur, a town in South Delhi and known as the 'Bouncer Town'.
The news is that the film's trailer is out. Tamannaah plays a young woman who wants to make it big in the world of fighting. Weight-lifting is easy for her. At home, her mother is conservative and wants her to make proper rotis before doing anything worthwhile on the career front.
The 'Baahubali' actress' character has been designed to entertain the audience, as the scene where the unmarried Babli walks into a pharmacy and asks for a condom shows. The 'desi pehelwan' goes on to break the bones of baddies and rivals in a city. She is brave and she will make your heart bounce, the trailer says.
Bankrolled by Fox Star Studios and Junglee Pictures, the film also stars Saurabh Shukla, Abhishek Bajaj and Sahil Vaid. It is directed by Madhur Bhandarkar.
