Allu Aravind has been interviewed by Ali for an ETV talk show. In the episode, the Geetha Arts supremo was asked about the perception that the Allu and Chiranjeevi families have not been on good terms.

Answering the question, Aravind said that he had clearly told the producers he would not take controversial questions. When Ali insisted, Aravind said that he and Chiru had started out as friends in the 1980s. More than 'bava' and 'bamardi', the two saw themselves as close friends.

"With time, new heroes have come out from our families. It's an open secret that there is bound to be some competition in such a scenario," Aravind said with frankness, adding that the Allu and Chiru families will always be united nevertheless.

"To this day, we go to Chiranjeevi garu's house to celebrate Sankranthi and Diwali. We can't advertise about such things for others' consumption. The other day, for the inauguration of Allu Studios, Chiranjeevi garu and his whole family were with us," Aravind said.
