Netizens troll Thaman for recycling old tune for Balakrishna

The song 'Jai Balayya' from 'Veera Simha Reddy' is a rehash of the song 'Osey Ramulamma' from Vijayashanthi's 'Osey Ramulamma'. Composed by Vandemataram Srinivas for that movie, the same has been recycled by SS Thaman for Nandamuri Balakrishna's film.

Netizens are pointing out the same through memes and fun videos. A Twitter user said that Thaman must stop rehashing folk tunes. "He recycled a folk song from Uttarandhra and that became 'Ramuloo Ramulaa' in Allu Arjun's 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo'. The 'La La Bheemla' song in Pawan Kalyan's 'Bheemla Nayak' was a direct lift from its Malayalam original," a Facebook user wrote.

'Veera Simha Reddy', directed by Gopichand Malineni, hits the cinemas for Sankranthi 2023.
