Modi, Jagan and other leaders pay tributes to Superstar Krishna

Superstar Krishna's demise has saddened the Telugu film audience. Besides film industry personalities, political leaders and dignitaries have also been paying him rich tributes via social media.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi called Krishna a legendary superstar who won the hearts of people through his versatile acting and lively personality. The PM also added that Krishna's demise is a colossal loss to the world of cinema and entertainment.

In his Telugu-language tweets, AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy said that Krishna was both Alluri and James Bond. His tweet briefly and effectively talked about the thespian's versatility.

Former AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu used the term 'Nata Shekarudu' to describe the departed soul. "With his demise, a wonderful cine era has come to an end. For Mahesh Babu, who recently lost his mother, this is going to be extremely painful. I pray to God that he and his family members have the strength to digest the agony," the TDP supremo wrote.

Besides Telugu leaders, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin also tweeted about Krishna.

Meanwhile, Telangana CMO has said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has ordered a funeral with state honours.
