'Korameenu' stars Anand Ravi as an underdog who represents the good. Helmed by Sripathy Karri, its teaser was released today at the hands of director Gopichand Malineni.
Shatru plays Meesala Raju, who is laughed at by everyone around him because he was humiliated by someone who shaved off his moustache the very day he joined his duty in Jalaripeta. The insult hurts his ego. The screenplay and much plotting seem to be built on his egomaniacal character and how he seeks revenge.
Anand Ravi's character is seen amid dark scenes. The theme of fear forms a crucial part of the story. The film apparently showcases village-level feuds and local customs as well.
Kartheek Koppera (cinematographer), Anantha Narayanan AG (music director), Sidharth Sadasivuni (BGM composer), and others have worked on the action-drama. Also starring Kishore Dhatrak, Raja Ravindra, Giridhar and others in different roles, the film is yet to lock its release date.
