Pan-India flick 'Banaras': 'Maayaganga' unveiled at Sukumar's hands

'Banaras', starring Zaid Khan and Sonal Monterio in lead roles, is helmed by Jayathirtha. The film will soon hit the cinemas in multiple Indian languages.

A song titled 'Maayaganga' from the movie is out. Written by Krishna Kanth and rendered by Armaan Malik, the song has been composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath. Releasing the song at his hands, 'Pushpa' maker Sukumar said, "I have known the producer Tilakraj Ballal for long. Tilak is a man of a good heart. You have to watch 'Banaras' for Zaid. 'Maayaganga' is a beautiful melody. Going by the song, I am confident that the film has come out really well. I congratulate the entire unit on this occasion."

Producer Tilakraj Ballal said, "I am proud that Sukumar garu has released the song from our movie. Zaid is passionate about movies. While his father told him to run a business, he evinced an interest in acting. Upon knowing his interest, I brought him to Mumbai. His dedication and hard-working attitude are impressive."

Director Jayathirtha said, "I am a school drop-out. I grew up doing theatre and stage shows. My film 'Bell Bottom' (Hindi) received the audience's love. The Telugu audience are passionate about cinema. Regardless of language, they always embrace good films."

Zaid Khan said, "I thank Sukumar garu for releasing this song. I am a huge fan of Telugu cinema. I need the blessings of the audience on my acting debut."
