'Enugu' is the Telugu-dubbed version of the Tamil-language action entertainer 'Yaanai'. Directed by Hari of 'Singham' fame, the film stars Arun Vijay of 'Saaho' fame as the hero. Ahead of the film's theatrical release soon, Vigneswara Entertainments and Drumsticks Production House on Sunday hosted an event in Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Kollywood director Hari (known for the 'Singham' movies) said that topical social problems have also been highlighted in the film which is mainly directed at the family audience. The film's trailer, released on the occasion, boasts emotional moments enriched by occasional action and musical drama.
Actor Arun Vijay has a layered role in the movie. He expressed satisfaction over the film's simultaneous release in both Telugu and Tamil. He also highlighted Enugu's emotional content. "Everyone is going to connect with its content," he added.
Samuthirakani, who was recently seen in 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata', said that 'Enugu' is a complete package. Priya Bhavani Shankar and Radhika Sarathkumar, among others, have key roles.
GV Prakash Kumar (music), Gopinath (cinematography), Anthony (editing), and the Baba Sakar-Dhina DI duo (choreography) have worked on the actioner.
