'Sachi' launched in the presence of Minister Srinivas Goud

'Sachi' is the title of an upcoming movie directed by Vivek Pothigeni. Based on true incidents, the film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Starring Sanjana and Moolavirat Ashok Reddy in lead roles, the film was launched today in the presence of Telangana Minister Srinivas Goud.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said, "This film is based on true incidents that took place in Khammam. Director Vivek has previously shot short films in the US. He is making 'Sachi' in order to inspire the people."

Director Vivek said, "I have been settled in the US. I wanted to tell this story to the audience and that's why I am wielding the megaphone. When a barber succumbs to a brain tumour and is unable to carry on his profession, his daughter takes up his father's profession for her family's sustenance. This poignant story is what our film is about. A lot of new artists are going to be seen."

The film also features Swapna, Sai Ramakrishna, Ravindar Panabaka, and others.

With dialogues by Peddinti Ashok Kumar and Vivek, the film has music by V Bharadwaj. Produced by Upen Nadipalli and Vivek, the film has art direction by Subbu.
