A couple of days after unveiling the melody 'Kaanunna Kalyanam', the makers of 'Sita Ramam' today introduced Bhumika Chawla's character in the Hanu Raghavapudi-directed drama.
The 'Kushi' actress, who was recently seen in 'Idhi Maa Katha', will be seen as Mrinalini in the movie. She is the wife of Vishnu Sharma, played by Sumanth. The Sumanth-Bhumika duo was paired up in the year 2000 movie 'Yuvakudu'.
To be released in theatres on August 5, the film has music by Vishal Chandrasekhar. 'Sita Ramam', co-starring Gautham Menon as a Major and Tharun Bhascker in a supporting role (as a sort of Lord Hanuman, metaphorically speaking), has Rashmika Mandanna in a special role named Afreen, a Kashmiri girl.
