This December 16, James Cameron's ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ is heading to theatres worldwide. Billed as a magnum opus, its early screening for the media was held in Mumbai earlier today.

Times Of India stated that the action choreography is meditative and hypnotic. "The sequel scores high on action and emotion. One is not compromised for the other," the review adds.

"The underwater sequences in The Way Of Water are absolutely breathtaking, worth the price of admission ticket alone," wrote the critic at Hindustan Times. India Today described the movie as a cinematic masterpiece. "Even if you are new to the Avatar universe, Cameron’s use of 3D and the visual splendour of every character he creates hypnotize you and suck you into this magical world," the review adds.

However, a few critics from the West have called the film underwhelming. The Guardian and Telegraph have hinted that the film doesn't meet the audience's expectations.

Meanwhile, the film is gearing up for a gargantuan release across 52,000 screens worldwide. This is more than what 'Avengers: Endgame' enjoyed.
