Director Sekhar Kammula today said that the Telangana government is doing the right thing by screening in multiple theatres a movie on Mahatma Gandhi to school children as part of its celebrations of the 75th Independence Day. In his social media post, the 'Happy Days' actor said that it was a rousing experience to watch the biopic with school children who enjoyed some of the film's high moments.
"It was nothing short of a goosebumps-ridden experience. The scene where the English judge stands up as Gandhi walks into the courtroom drew cheers from kids in the hall. The Chauri Chaura incident episode also drew whistles from them," Kammula wrote, adding that he watched the movie at a famous single-screen in Hyderabad.
The 'Fidaa' maker called it a truly exhilarating experience and a euphoric one.
