Sreshth Movies and the distributors of 'Macherla Niyojakavargam' have made a killing out of the Nithiin-starrer, which was released in theatres on Friday. The mass commercial entertainer opened to Nithiin's best-ever figure.
As per the makers, 'MN' made Rs 10 Cr (Gross) worldwide on its first day. In India, its share touched nearly Rs 5 Cr.
In Nizam, the film made Rs 1.43 Cr on the back of its content, the makers said. adding that the response is great throughout Ceded and Andhra.
What is 'MN' about? Rajappa (Samuthirakani) has been the unelected ruler of Macherla, a constituency in the Guntur district, for 30 years. Nobody dares to file a nomination during the Assembly elections, for Rajappa will mercilessly hunt them down. In Vizag, Siddarth Reddy (Nithiin) is an IAS topper who is waiting to take charge as a District Collector in the near future. In the meanwhile, he falls in love with Swathi, who is on a secret mission. When she falls in trouble because of her mission, Siddarth has to save her from Rajappa.
