'Aha Naa Pellanta', a title with a special ring for the Telugu audience, is back in vogue. Starring Raj Tarun as a jilted groom and Shivani Rajasekhar as his heroine, it is being bankrolled by the OTT platform ZEE5 and Tamada Media.
Helmed by Sanjeev Reddy, the story is set in Rajahmundry. What is the length of the web series? "There will be 8 episodes in total, each of the duration of 30 minutes," the makers said. The director said that the story is premised on a bride-elopement thread. "The male lead's bride elopes with her boyfriend on her wedding day. The groom now is vengeful and what he does is the crux of the story," he adds, suggesting that the revenge takes the form of comedy.
Also featuring Amani, Harshavardhan, Posani Krishna Murali, Getup Srinu, Jabardash Rajamouli, Tagubothu Ramesh, Madhunandhan, Bhadram, Raghu Karamanchi, and Dorababu, the series has music by Judah Sandhy, cinematography by Nagesh Banell, and dialogues by Kalyan Raghava. Dawood Sheik has penned the story and screenplay.
