'Maestro' will be streamed on Hotstar from September 17. Its pre-release event was held on Tuesday evening.

Speaking on the occasion, Tamannaah Bhatia said that she is what she is because of the unconditional love and support of her fans. "When 'Maestro' came my way, I decided to do it without fail. With Nithiin being the hero, my enthusiasm for the project only increased. Rather than a love story, I have acted in an unexpected genre with him," she added.

Singer Mangli, who has played a role in the movie, said, "This movie is introducing me as an actress. I thank the producers and the director. You are going to enjoy watching 'Maestro'. Working with Nithiin garu was great. He behaved like a friend with us, not a star."

Producer Nikhita Reddy said, "I hope you all are going to enjoy our movie when it comes out on September 17. Director Merlapaka Gandhi has done a superb job."

Merlapaka Gandhi said, "I thought I will do a commercial and comedy entertainer with Nithiin. But I ended up remaking 'Andhadhun'. After this movie, Tamannaah will be called a great artist rather than a milky beauty. Cinematographer Yuvaraj was very patient throughout. VK Naresh garu will be seen with a wig and a curious mannerism. Mangli, Jisshu Sengupta, Racha Ravi, Sreemukhi and others have acted in 'Maestro'. When you watch our movie on the 17th, you will also love Mahati Swara Sagar's BGM."

Nabha Natesh said, "It was a new experience acting in a remake. I thank director Gandhi for trusting me. This is my first movie with Nithiin. His energy levels are infectious. He is so dedicated to the craft."

Nithiin said, "'Andhadhun' is regarded a cult movie in Hindi. Remaking such a movie was not an easy choice. As an actor, I took the risk to prove myself. We have definitely made some changes to the original. But the soul has been kept intact. 'Maestro' suits the tastes of the Telugu audience. Mahati's RR is so amazing that we are sad that our movie is not releasing in theatres. The visuals will stand out. Working with Naresh garu and other artists was great."
