'Ukku Satyagraham', starring Satya Reddy in the lead, is produced and directed by him. Set in the backdrop of the Vizag Steel Plant, the film features a song written and rendered by balladeer Gaddar. 'Samme nee janmahakkuranno', so goes the song. Marking May Day today, the song was unveiled.
Satya Reddy has always made socially-conscious movies. Pratyusha, Sardar Chinnapareddy, Rangula Kala, Kurrakaaru, Ayyappa Deeksha, Glamour, Siddham and Prashnista are among his 42 movies. After proving himself as a producer and director of taste, he is now coming with 'Ukku Satyagraham' with a topical subject.
The film's first schedule was recently shot in and around Vizag. The song, released today, was filmed in the first schedule. The second schedule will take off once the second wave subsides. A 15-minute-song will be a major highlight of the movie. Gaddar will be seen in a role.
Suddala Ashok Teja, Goreti Venkanna, Chandrabose and others have penned its other songs.
Music is by Sri Koti. Cinematography is by Venkat. Produced by P Satish Reddy, the film is written also by Sri Vemula.
