Sanjjanaa Galrani of 'Bujjigaadu' fame today said that she is extremely proud of the selfless services being provided by her husband, Dr. Azeez Pasha, who is a vascular surgeon. The multi-lingual actress used the occasion of National Doctors Day to laud the services provided by thousands of other doctors in the country at a time when the pandemic is posing occupational risks to the medical fraternity.
In her statement, Sanjjanaa said that she has told her husband a number of times to go on leave for at least a month at a time when the coronavirus pandemic peaked. "We had arguments at length, but he clearly told me that his life is meant to serve the people who are diseased and that medicine was his most important priority, even above his family," the actress said, adding that she has eventually come around to see her husband's point.
She is aware of the fact that marriage and companionship are all about accommodating the other person's point of view. Calling doctors real heroes, the actress raised a toast to their service to humanity.
