'Maara', starring R Madhavan and Shraddha Srinath, is a Tamil-language romantic musical drama to be streamed on Amazon Prime Video from January 8. Its trailer and dialogue promo were released recently.
The news is that a hear-touching song from the awaited movie is out now. Composed by Ghibran, its lyrics are by Thamarai. Rendered by Yazin Nizar and Sanah Moidutty, it is titled 'Oru Arai'. For the looks of it, the song seems to have been shot in a picturesque and artistic manner. "The song breathes life into the feel-good narrative leaving you asking for more," the makers say.
"The film is a romantic musical and hence, each and every song of the film is extremely important to the narrative. We had to make sure that the songs not only go well with the situation but also with the visuals of the film," says composer Ghibran, who has previously worked on Prabhas' 'Saaho'.
Helmer Dhilip Kumar adds, “Being a romantic musical drama, we wanted to create music in a way that would take the story forward. Music is the heart of the film."
