Praname, a soulful track from Keerthy Suresh's 'Penguin', was released today by Anirudh Ravichander. The song, composed by Santosh Narayanan, released in 3 languages. It is titled 'Kolamey' in Tamil and 'Omaley' in Malayalam.
Vennelakanti penned the song in Telugu. Susha has sung the song in the three languages. Santosh Narayanan has thanked his team for working from remote locations for the album despite the ongoing crisis due to coronavirus induced lock-down. He added that he was given complete freedom by the team. "Praname is a special song to me as it was created in total isolation and I could reinvent myself and travel back to my older "sound". We have decided to keep this song as purposeful as possible in the movie. Susha has sung it soulfully", said Santosh Narayanan.
'Penguin' is scheduled for a world premiere on 19th June on Amazon Prime Video. It will be streamed acorss 200+ countries and territories. 'Petta' director Karthik Subbaraj has been producing this movie under Stone Bench films in association with Passion Studios. Eashvar Karthic is the director.
