Director Trivikram is exploring new strengths. Earlier good writing laced with comedy was his strength, but with Aravinda Sametha he proved that he can do good serious writing as well and succeed in it. The director has been experimenting with new approach and has been successful in it.
But his upcoming film Ala Vaikuntapuramlo has been told in an entertaining way. The story is built on the fact that status has to be earned even if you are in a high position.
There have been rumours that this film is based on Karna from Mahabharata. Trivikram says that it is not true. The title of the film is inspired from Pothana's Srimad Bhagavatham.
Trivikram says that Allu Arjun has matured as an actor. This is their third film together.
It is being said that many new filmmakers are copying Trivikram. But this director begs to differ. He says he is yet to see any newbie doing this. Infact he is stunned with the kind of films that these new directors are making.
