The Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce expresses its deep shock and profound grief at the sudden demise of our beloved Dr.Dasari Narayana Rao. The Film Chamber conveys the heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family of Dr.Dasari Narayana Rao and pray his soul to rest in peace.
Dr.Dasari Narayana Rao was born on 4-5-1942at Palakollu, W.G.District, Andhra Pradesh and started his career as Film Director with the film 'Thatha Manavadu' and was awarded A.P.State Nandi Award for the same. Since, then he never looked back since then and he produced 53 films on the banner M/s.Tharaka Prabhu Films. He directed and produced films with many eminent personalities like N.T.R, A.N.R. Mohan Babu, Balakrishna, Chiranjeevi, etc., He also entered to Media as an Editor and Publisher for 'UDAYAM' News paper. He served this nation as a State Union Minister and M.P. Rajya Sabha. He holds Limca Book of World Records for number of films directed by one individual, he has been conferred with N.T.R.National Award given by the A.P.State Government and many more Awards given by Central and State Governments. He served as President of Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce, Telugu Film Producers Council, South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce,
etc.,
In mark of respect to the departed soul Dr.Dasari Narayana Rao, all activities of the Telugu Film Industry remain closed tomorrow (31-5-2017) in both the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
