Krish Jagarlamudi donates his National Award prize money to Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital

Krish Jagarlamudi, who won the hearts of Telugu audience by making different films like ‘Gamyam’, ‘Vedam’ and ‘Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum’, has made ‘Kanche’ with Varun Tej as hero. We all know that ‘Kanche’, the love entertainer which is set in the backdrop of Second World War, has won National Award. Krish has decided to donate his National Award Prize Money to Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital in Hyderabad. This is not the first time. In the past, the director has donated his one acre land to the government to build a hospital in Kuncherla village near Vinugonga in Guntur district. Andhra Pradesh health minister Kamineni Srinivas has launched the government hospital established in the name of Krish’s grandparents Jagarlamudi Ramanaiah Chowdary and Sitaramamma. In the same way, the director has once again proved that he is not only a creative director but also a kind natured person by donating his National Award prize money to Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital in Hyderabad. He confirmed the news through social networking site saying, “I’m donating the National Award Prize Money to Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital which treated my mother and many with utmost care and excellence. It has given immense happiness to me.”
