A new film with Sunil as hero and Vamsi Krishna Akella as director, which is being produced by R Sudarshan Reddy under a prominent production house RPA Creations, has off recently with formal Pooja amidst some prominent people in the film industry. Sunil, who entertained audience as an actor by playing distinct roles and became successful as hero, is playing the lead role, while well talented Vamsi Krishna Akella, who scored success with a distinct film like ‘Raksha’, is directing this yet to be titled film. After creating new trend by delivering first blockbuster among small films with ‘Prema Katha Chitram’, producer R Sudarshan Reddy became choosy because he feels that his Production No.2 film should also be super-duper hit. Hence, he is making his next film with Sunil as hero. Prominent Bollywood Star Priyanka Chopra’s cousin Mannara is playing the female lead opposite Sunil.
Speaking on the occasion, producer R Sudarshan Reddy said, “Our banner RP Creations was started by introducing new genre horror comedy to the Telugu film industry. ‘Prema Katha Chitram’ has proved that a small film can become big blockbuster. With this success, the expectations for my next film are high. After ‘Prema Katha Chitram’, I’ve listened to may scripts. But, I’m waiting for a good script which will reach audience expectations and at that time ‘Raksha fame Vamsi Krishna Akella came to me with a good story. Sunil and I were impressed with the plot and given the green signal to the project. This untitled film was launched recently at Ramanaidu Studios with formal Pooja. We searched for the suitable heroine who perfectly suits to the Suni’s comedy timing. Prominent Bollywood Star Priyanka Chopra’s cousin Mannara is playing the female lead opposite Sunil. Mannara made her Bollywood debut with ‘Zid’. She is being introduced to the Telugu film industry through this film. Director Vamsi Krishna has readied the script in such a way that the film will goes on in a thrilling mode with twists and turns and the comedy will be much better than ‘Prema Katha Chitram’. Sapthagiri, who became star comedian through our banner, will appear in a distinct comedy role. He will leave audience in splits with his comedy. Regular shooting of the film will starts from the first week of August and the shooting will continue without a break. I’m very confident that the film which is being made as a commercial action entertainer will impress all sects of audience.”
Director Vamsi Krishna Akella informs, “Sunil and I are good friends since long time. After ‘Raksha’, I wanted to do a commercial film and therefore I’ve readied this script. Producer R Sudarshan Reddy has great passion on films. I have narrated him the story. He was very impressed by the script and immediately accepted to produce this film. Recently the film was launched with formal pooja. Sunil’s character is blended with action and comedy timing. The film will be very thrilling with twists and turns which you can’t expect and at the same time it will leave audience in splits. Sapthagiri is doing a full-fledged role and his comedy will be much good than his earlier films. The film will go on sets from the first week of August. Prominent Bollywood Star Priyanka Chopra’s cousin Mannara is playing the female lead opposite Sunil. I’m sure the film will impress Sunil’s fans and all sects of audience.”
